Whimsy Makers is run by Cassie Wanda a passionate mixed-media artist, whose goal is generally “make it whimsical and silly.” She focuses on creating imaginative work that blends fine art and craft. She especially enjoys projects that combine storytelling with visual art, helping students connect imagination, narrative, with hands-on making.

From the site: Our Art Camps keep kids actively engaged working with a variety of instructors, mediums, and techniques. Classes are led by professional studio artists in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, beading, mixed media and more! Kids will complete individual and group projects to develop creativity and art skills.
Six-Week Sessions
Ages 6-10:90 minutes ~ Ages 10-14: 120 minutes
A playful, imagination-led art experience exploring drawing, painting, and mixed media through seasonal projects. Students learn real techniques, play art games, collaborate on creative installations, and create take-home art in a welcoming space where ideas are encouraged to grow and evolve.
Eight-Week Sessions
Ages 6-10: 90 minutes ~ Ages 10-14: 120 minutes
Enjoy literature through art! Each class begins by listening to literature while creating freely, then moves into an instructor-led art lesson inspired by the story. Students in the 10-14 class will also design a cover and bind their artwork into a hardcover book to take home.

Let’s celebrate imagination, kindness, and the magic of giving! Create thoughtful handmade cards and gifts for family and friends. Students will blend fine art with crafting to make unique giftable pieces. Each treasure will be gift-wrapped in class, ready to tuck away and give to someone special this holiday season.
